CMPC Institute: Construction Progress Strengthens Social Legacy in Guaíba and Barra do Ribeiro

Construction is progressing as scheduled and, along with new educational, cultural, and community programs, will strengthen CMPC’s social legacy in the region located in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Works on the future headquarters of the CMPC Institute in Guaíba, Brazil, are progressing according to plan, with its inauguration scheduled for June 2027. Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the infrastructure will serve as a gathering point for initiatives focused on educational, cultural, and community development, reinforcing CMPC’s commitment to generating social value across its operational territories.

While the new space takes shape, the Institute continues to expand its impact through programs that already benefit 150 students in extracurricular activities across Guaíba and Barra do Ribeiro. This is complemented by the expansion of parenting workshops and new reading promotion initiatives. In parallel, strategic planning toward 2030 is underway, aiming to establish this project as a permanent social legacy for the region.

Beyond the construction of new infrastructure, the CMPC Institute is backed by programs that are already delivering tangible results. Over the past year, these initiatives have positively impacted hundreds of people, contributing to community development and fostering opportunities for learning, participation, and well-being in the region.
