CMPC Pulp publishes an Environmental Product Declaration for its Santa Fe Mill

At CMPC Pulp, advancing transparency and sustainability is a core part of how we operate. In line with this commitment, our Santa Fe mill has achieved a key milestone by publishing the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its bleached hardwood kraft pulp.

An EPD is an independently verified document that provides science-based insights into a product’s environmental impacts, such as global warming, soil and water acidification, and water deprivation among others, across its entire life cycle.

This document ensures that our Santa Fe BHKP offers customers reliable, standardized, and transparent environmental information to support more informed decision-making. The full declaration can be accessed here.

Produced from Chilean eucalyptus wood, Santa Fe Bleached Hardwood Kraft Pulp is used in a wide range of everyday applications, including tissue, printing and writing paper, cardboard, and specialty products. Its fiber characteristics enable efficient refining—supporting lower energy consumption—while contributing to key performance attributes such as uniform formation, opacity, and whiteness.

This achievement reflects our ongoing efforts to align with global best practices in environmental performance and product stewardship. By providing verified and comparable data, the EPD strengthens our value proposition to customers seeking traceable and environmentally responsible fibers.
