BioCMPC Recognized as Project of the Year 2024 in Los Angeles
To officialize this achievement, we were present at the awards ceremony held in Los Angeles, United States, during the PMI Global Summit 2024.
The award received by CMPC represents a milestone for Brazil and the Pulp and Paper sector in the country, as it is the first time that a project developed in Brazilian territory wins the PMI
Awards in the Engineering, Construction, and Infrastructure category. This demonstrates the capability of Brazilian companies to execute complex projects with the highest management
standards.
The PMI (Project Management Institute) is an international non-profit organization that brings together project management professionals and highlights projects, individuals, and organizations
that have implemented initiatives with innovation and quality in their management, maximizingresults globally.
Antonio Lacerda, General Director of the Guaíba Unit, noted that BioCMPC also stood out for its complexity, management practices aimed at achieving superior organizational results, driving
innovation, and generating a positive impact on society.
“It is an honor to see our efforts recognized on a global stage, which demonstrates our ability to execute complex projects with excellence and alignment with the highest global standards. This
