CMPC began the deployment in the mills and offices of CMPC 2030, the strategy that contemplates the necessary transformations to become the leading company we want in the future and that focuses on five pillars of work: Sustainability, Growth and Innovation, Customer, Competitiveness and Talent. Each one of them includes goals that the different businesses are already working on. Each of these pillars represents a challenge for CMPC that will guide our efforts as a single team.

Francisco Ruiz-Tagle, CEO of Empresas CMPC, stated that "today we are moving in a complex environment, which obliges us to be prepared to meet the needs of our customers with renewable solutions based on natural fibers, and to achieve this we have defined this path.

Each strategic pillar has specific objectives and initiatives associated with a single strategy. All this work responds to a path that began at the end of 2018, since we began to think of CMPC as a global scenario, taking on our businesses with a single team, carrying out a series of investment initiatives, operational improvements, customer-facing decisions, innovation, and many more challenges, which has allowed us to position the Company at a very different point than it was four years ago.

This strategy will allow us to project ourselves for the next 100 years, adapting to a challenging, but at the same time very attractive future for the entire CMPC environment.
